Managing General Agent · Canada
The risks standard markets decline — placed for brokers across Canada.
Total Risk Managers is a Managing General Agent for hard-to-place and specialty risks — from vacant homes and rental properties to jewellers block, fine art, cargo and liability, with more classes launching through the year. Licensed brokers send us the details; we come back with an answer. We do not sell insurance to the public.

Before you send a file
What is Total Risk Managers?
A Managing General Agent based in Canada. We sit between insurance brokers and insurers: brokers bring us the risks standard markets decline or cannot price, we underwrite them, and terms come back to the broker.
Does Total Risk Managers sell insurance directly?
No. We work only with licensed insurance brokers, and the broker stays the client’s point of contact throughout. If you are looking for coverage for yourself or your business, please speak to your broker, who can then approach us.
How does a broker send a submission?
By email, to submissions@totalriskmanagers.com. Each product page sets out what to include for that class — a submission that answers those points upfront can usually be quoted without us coming back to ask.
Information on this website is general and is for information only. It is not advice, and it is not a quote or an offer of coverage. Policy wording decides what is covered. Coverage is arranged through a licensed insurance broker. If you are a broker, contact us. If you are not, please speak to your broker.
